A bronzed plaster statuette, one of a series of nineteen featuring artists, philosophers and writers. This statuette is of Spenser standing by a plinth. He is staring off to his left, a quill in his right hand poised over an open book on top of the plinth. The front of the plinth is decorated with a relief moulded image of Britannia.
