- Umbrella. Dome shaped cover of black silk and cotton mix with grey stripes around the bottom edge. Unlined. The spike is long and thin with a metal ferrule tip. The stick is of wood, the long, tapering handle is of varnished wood with a decorative silver cap. The ribs and stretchers are of steel. The umbrella is held closed by a buttoned cord.
