Talk: The Bedale Hoard – Tue 24 Feb 2015
In 2012 metal detectors made an amazing discovery of a hoard made up of Viking silver jewellery and ingots near Bedale.
Thanks to generous public donations and grants from funders the Hoard has remained in Yorkshire and undergone conservation.
This is a special talk by the Yorkshire Museum’s Curator of Archaeology, with a unique chance to handle the newly conserved and displayed hoard.
£15 per person Includes museum admission.
To book a place ring York Museums Trust on 01904 687633.
