Artists Garden – Foundation Myths Talk – Wed 17 Aug 2016

Foundation Myths is the first artwork to be created especially for York Art Gallery’s new Artists Garden site, which will be used to display new and exciting artworks for free. The work of Charles Holland of Ordinary Architecture, Foundation Myths is inspired by the persistent myth that architecture evolves directly from nature and refers to the Artists Garden’s former use as an orchard and to the ruins of St Mary’s Abbey.

Join Nicola Stephenson, Project Curator for the Artists Garden, at this special talk to discover more about the project.

Please note that this talk will take place in the Artists Garden, weather permitting.*

Free, no need to book.

*In the case of bad weather, the talk will take place in the Centre of Ceramic Art at York Art Gallery (admission applies).
