- Description
- Stamped white metal badge held by three copper ring lugs. Eight pointed star with radiants, on which are crossed laurel branches. Over this is superimposed a gilding metal casting comprising a garter around the centre and attached across the strapend of this is a scroll which fits over the lower portion of the star and laurels. the ring contains the motto of the order of the Garter 'HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE' , the scroll 'EAST YORKS' and 'BEVERLEY BUFFS'. At the centre is a Yorkshire rose on a silver disk ground. The whole badge is surmounted by a Queen's crown.
