- Stamped white metal badge held by three copper ring lugs. Eight pointed star with radiants, on which are crossed laurel branches. At the centre is an integral badge in the form of a disc with the words 'EAST YORKSHIRE 2ND. VOLR. BATN' around the edge. At the centre is the badge of the East Yorks of an eight pointed star bearing a Yorkshire rose. The whole badge is surmounted by a Queen's crown.
