Pair of open topped brown polished leather pistol holsters. Probably post 1820. Each os a moulded leather bucket shapped to take a pistol muzzle down and leave enough space around the grip for removal. There is a leather strap with a single brass roller buckle around the throat of each. There may have been an alteration to the loops retaining the latter at some time.
