Sampler, unframed. Worked on linen in wool cross stitch. No border. Five rows of mixed alphabet, numerals and motifs divided by lines of different designs. Beneath are the worker's name, age and date, and a moral text. These are also divided with patterned lines. The lower half is filled with motifs including flowers and trees.
