Sampler, unframed. Worked on linen in wool. Geometric, pink floral borders along the top and bottom edges, but not the sides. Ten rows of mixed alphabet, numerals and family initials worked in cross stitch, Algerian eye stitch and running stitch. Beneath are three sailing ships with figures.
