Sampler, unframed. Worked on linen in coloured silks, in cross and Algerian eye stitch. Single red line border. The top half is worked with alphabets and numerals. The lower half is worked with various motifs including trees, baskets of flowers, dogs, birds and an angel. The worker's name, age, date and school are worked in black.
