Description
Bisque doll dressed in traditional nun habit as one of the teaching nuns of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Habit consists of pinned coif and cotton wimple decorated with three bows, rosary chain, white armband, pleated tunic and buckled shoes. The face and upper part of the doll is bisque with brown sleeping eyes, red lips, open mouth and four upper teeth. Composition, body, legs and arms are jointed, lower limbs are textile, upper torso is bisque. Presented to the donor when leaving school in 1936.
