Description
Replica Roman figurine. Actually an Etruscan figure mounted and sold as a figurine from Pompeii. Copper-alloy figurine of an archaic male statue, standing and facing forward. His palm of the left hand (and preusmably also of the, now missing, right hand) are opened in supplication. He wears a toga, gathered at the left shoulder and revealing his chest and stomach. Facilia features are somewhat stylised, the hair styled as a large five-pointed diadem. Mounted through the feet into the base.
