- Smoothbore .650inch percussion lock calibre cavalry carbine. Paget's pattern with swivel ramrod and steel sling bar with one ring. Crown, 'V.R.' and 'TOWER 1844' on lockplate. Brass butt plate tang stamped 'H YC 52'. The name 'MOXHAM' is stamped under the neck of the stock. Also has 'BO' with an arrow between the letters and the * mark created by the touching arrowheads of the government disposal mark.
Previous entry for this item recorded it as converted from flintlock which is not the case.
