Venue: York Art Gallery

Inspired by the new installation Foundation Myths created by Charles Holland of Ordinary Architecture for the Artists’ Garden behind York Art Gallery, this year’s Teenage Art School explores how artists respond to a place.

Working with photography, paint and clay under the guidance of ceramic sculptor, Ken Jaquiery and artist-curator Gaby Lees, you will develop work for an exhibition in the Project Gallery at York Art Gallery (exhibition opens Thursday 11 August).

Four day course for 14 to 18 year olds. Whether art is just a hobby or something you are studying (or planning to study) at GCSE or A level, Teenage Art School will help you develop your skills as an artist.

Free – places must be booked in advance. Please call 01904 687633 or email groupbookings@ymt.org.uk.
