Early Years Explorers: Traditional Tea Party – Thu 17 Mar 2016

Early Years Explorers are activities for children aged two to to five years old which include songs, stories, games and craft activities. Sessions are based on familiar preschool play areas, which are enhanced to help children learn about the museums’ collections and exhibitions through play. Sessions are a mixture of free-flow and adult-led activities which all relate to the Early Years curriculum.

York Castle Museum: Traditional Tea Party

Have a tea party, decorate paper plates and listen to the story of The Tiger Who Came to Tea.

Join one of our knowledgeable volunteers every Tuesday and Thursday for a free talk from 12pm. The subject will vary but will relate to one of the displays in the museum.

Please note that as these talks are volunteer-led, we cannot guarantee that they will always take place. Please ring ahead on 01904 687687 or check with our Welcome Team on arrival in case of cancellation.
