Animating the Bronze Age – for 14-16 year olds – Mon 4 Aug 2014

Dates: Monday 4 August 2014–Friday 15 August 2014, 10:30 am - 3:30 pm

A very special animation project, where you will learn the tricks and techniques needed to be an animator. Working with local professionals Biomation you will work on a brand new animation including scripting, character development and filming.  The finished animation will go on display in the museum to over 100,000 visitors a year. No knowledge of the bronze age needed just the willingness to learn (and a packed lunch!). This experience will look great on CVs and UCAS applications.

Dino Dress-Up – Thu 14 Aug 2014

Make your own dino mask and decorate it with collage techniques using our special reptilian paper.

Or you can walk with dinosaurs and create your own dinosaur feet, inspired by the museum’s collection of dinosaur footprint fossils.
