Get “dough-eyed” at York Venues Wedding Fair on Sunday 29th March with everything from dazzling dresses to delicious doughnuts available for your big day.

Guests will find around 40 stalls offering services such as floristry, bridal dress designs, personalised stationary and quirky extras such as ice-cream carts and even a doughnut stand!

Jennifer Chadwick, weddings and events manager, said:

“Couples are increasingly looking for ideas that make their wedding day a little bit different.

“We have invited suppliers that we personally recommend to come along to the York Venues Wedding Fair so people can see a wide range of products and services all in the one venue.

“There will be beautiful wedding dresses and bridal wear, photographers, make-up, cakes decorations but also some quirky ideas such as an ice-cream cart and a doughnut stand!”

Debra Terry from Wedding Belles and Beaus, a popular bridal shop in York who regularly attend the York Venues Wedding Fair said:

“York Venues Wedding Fair is one of the most popular in York. There are always lots of interesting stalls and the event itself has a great attendance; it is a fantastic event for both attendees and stall holders.”

The event will be open to the public for FREE from 11am-3pm and guests can expect a range of exciting stalls, a string quartet and lots of freebies, all under the roof of this fantastic venue which is also available for wedding hire.

All funds raised by weddings at the Hospitium are put towards the care of the buildings and collections at York Art Gallery, the Yorkshire Museum, York Castle Museum and York St Mary’s, which are looked after by York Museums Trust.
