#AskACurator – Our Team Is Ready For Your Questions On September 16

9 September 2015

#AskACurator  – 16 September 2015

#AskACurator is a fantastic global event in which thousands of curators answer questions online. The 2015 event is on September 16 Our team are gearing up and really keen to get your questions! To get things started we thought we’d get them to ask each other a few puzzlers…

Between them, our curators know loads about loads! Not only does this make them a rather devastating pub quiz team but means that they are great people to answer your questions about art, science, history, nature, society, Yorkshire and more. In particular they know all sorts of interesting things about our collections – the thousands of objects they spend their days looking after.

Raring to go we have:

@YMT_Science – Sarah King

Sarah is curator of Natural History at the Yorkshire Museum. This means she looks after all our fossils, geological specimens, plants, insects, animals

@YMT_Coins – Andrew Woods

Andrew is curator of Numismatics at the Yorkshire Museum. Numismatics means coins and medals: all the small, round shiny things!
