- Large sword with double edged blade of lozenge shaped section with no fullers, from the point it gently tapers then narrows to an edgeless portion above an outer guard of upcurved crescent shaped blades, below this is another section without an edge covered in leather then the hilt. the hilt comprises a large pommel , long handle and cross guards of flat section cut to make two curliques near each terminal and one each side of the blade, there are also rings on either side of the guard. Blade marked with a wolf and stamped "IHS IS"
