Casual Positions at York Museums Trust

Are you looking for a challenging and varied role?

York Museums Trust is looking for enthusiastic individuals with a strong customer care background and a passion for working with the public. As we approach this busy time of the year we need individuals who are flexible and eager to get some experience in all the Trust has to offer. You may be required to fulfil various roles across all the sites, from selling ice cream in the Museum Gardens, or assisting in the set up and delivery of a wedding or conference, to guiding in one of our museums, or working in one of our museum shops. These roles requires an excellent level of customer care and the enthusiasm and energy to deliver a professional and quality driven service to each of our customers.

The technical bits…

This is a Casual contract and is therefore worked on an as and when required basis, however as this means that the Trust are under no obligation to give you and shifts, you are equally under no obligation to accept any offered. We pay £7.0324 per hour.

Job Vacancies at The Yorkshire Museum

Various hours

The Trust is looking for experienced and dynamic individuals with a strong background in customer care for various Guiding and Retail roles within the newly refurbished Yorkshire Museum. The successful candidates will have solid customer service backgrounds and a keen interest in museums and history. These roles require a high level of self motivation and a passion for working with the public. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved with the museum following its exciting £2 million refurbishment.
