Our curatorial team have between them a vast amount of knowledge about the thousands of objects in York Museums Trust's collections.

We are constantly researching areas of our collections where we could find out more and making sure our objects and paintings are catalogued in more detail.

We welcome any offers of expert help in this work, whether from people with expert knowledge about a particular subject or people who can identify items that have been donated in the past without accompanying information.
