About York Museums Trust
York Museums Trust is an independent charity which manages some of the most important York attractions.
York Castle Museum, Yorkshire Museum and Gardens, York Art Gallery and York St Mary's. The buildings and their contents are owned by the City of York Council, which has agreed to long-term funding of the Trust. Our Chair is Denise Jagger and our Chief Executive is Janet Barnes.
